2nd illegal immigrant drop house in 48 hours found in Avondale

AVONDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Responding to reports from neighbors of hearing cries for help, Avondale police found some 55 suspected illegal immigrants in an apparent drop house.The discovery came late Sunday night.Saturday evening, Avondale police found 80 suspected illegal immigrants in another drop house after an anonymous caller reported numerous cars coming from and going to a home.No immediate word on whether any suspected smugglers were apprehended at either scene.
