State Police arrest 10 illegal immigrants after pulling over van

State Police troopers arrested ten illegal immigrants after a routine traffic stop in Charleston.

Trooper M.J. Napier was traveling southbound near the 99-mile marker about 5 p.m. Sunday and observed a van execute numerous illegal lane changes, according to a press release from West Virginia State Police Sgt. Kenneth McCord.

The officer pulled over the van and questioned the driver, Raul Allejos-Gonzalez, 36, who was unable to produce a valid driver's license, nor any valid documentation allowing him to be in the country, the release said.

Also discovered inside the van were nine other illegal aliens unable to produce any documentation, the release said.

They are Ramiro Ibrarra, 25, Harcio Panzo, 25, Mayola Garcia, 30, Jose Martinez-Hernandez, 24, Espiritu Maquixele-Panzo, 26, Gabino Rodriguez-Hernandez, 32, Fermancio Valadez-Sanchez, 30, Martin Guerrero-Gonzalez, 36, and one unidentified juvenile, the release said.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was then contacted and confirmed the subjects as illegal aliens, the release said.

Garcia and his younger brother, the juvenile, were released to an immigration officer in Charleston, but he others were taken to South Central Regional Jail, the release said.

They will remain there until transported to Pennsylvania for deportation hearings, the complaint said.The van was registered in North Carolina, but the destination of the aliens is not known, the release said.
