Stoughton man faces immigration charge

DEDHAM - A Stoughton man was arrested on an immigration violation at 10:20 a.m. Thursday after he was found sleeping in a 1992 Toyota Camry in front of 11 Booth Rd.
The driver, later identified as Nelson Oliviera, 26, of 5 Bennett Dr. in Stoughton, had been sleeping in the car since 9 p.m. the previous night, according to a caller.
When asked for his license and registration, he provided the officer with a Brazilian driver's license.
He was placed under arrest for an immigration violation and taken to Dedham Police headquarters" Police notifyed Immigration and Customs Enforcement, who took custody of Oliviera.
