The items below come from Northbrook Police Department reports. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
WARRANT ARREST, DEPORTATION ORDER
Nathaniel Perez-Posadas, 27, of Chicago, was stopped for a traffic violation, arrested and charged with failing to wear a seatbelt Wednesday, May 11, at Dundee and Shermer roads, according to police. When he was stopped, police also discovered that the Wilmette Police Department had a warrant out for his arrest, on theft charges, and that the Department of Homeland Security had issued an immigration detainer and order of deportation for him.
WARRANT FOR REMOVAL FROM THE U.S.
Krystyna Sawicka, 55, of Wheeling, was stopped for traffic at Dundee Road and Ash Lane Wednesday, May 11, and arrested on an Immigrations & Customs Enforcement warrant for her removal from the U.S., according to police.
