Criminal trespass
On Oct. 3 at 5:42 a.m., a couple residing in a New Road apartment were awakened to discover an unknown man who was later identified as Alberto J. Solares, 30, of Parsippany, asleep on their bedroom floor. When Officer Peter Molisso and others arrived it was discovered that the man had opened the screen of the couple's bathroom window and entered the apartment, mistakenly believing that he was in his own apartment. Solares was arrested and transported to headquarters where he was charged with criminal trespassing. According to police, Solares reported that he had just arrived from Mexico and had no identification or paperwork regarding his immigration status. Police turned him over to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Deportation Unit.
