Police have detained 19 suspected undocumented immigrants after a traffic stop in Camp Verde uncovered a drop house in Phoenix on Saturday morning.
Officials from the Yavapai County Sheriff's office made a traffic stop near Camp Verde and discovered 12 undocumented immigrants inside the truck.
After further investigation, deputies found that the undocumented immigrants had come from a house in west Phoenix.
Phoenix Police Department was informed and dispatched officers to the residence near Camelback Road and 87th Avenue close to 7:30 a.m.
When officers arrived at the scene they found 3 males, 3 females, and 1 juvenile inside the home.
All were in good condition, but would not give officers any information on why they were at the home or who owned the residence.
All 7 were detained and processed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
