St. Louis man charged with illegal immigration

(KMOV.com) -- On March 23rd, a federal grand jury in East St. Louis charged a St. Louis man for illegal immigration.
Maximiliano Tovar-Hernandez, 28, was charged with Entry into the United States Without Inspection.
The charge was originally suppressed, but an investigation by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office of Homeland Security allowed formal charges to be filed.
If convicted, Tovar-Hernandez faces up to six months in prison and a fine up to $5,000.
