Two people remained in jail Sunday after separate domestic violence accusations that involved weapons, according to South Sound law enforcement agencies.

Tyshun Adayemi Adeloye of Lacey faces a charge of domestic violence harassment, a felony, after Lacey police say he shot a gun in the vicinity of his ex-girlfriend Saturday morning. The woman told police that she went to Adeloye’s home in the 2300 block of Alpha Street Southeast in Lacey around 5:30 a.m. to retrieve a dog that he took from her home.

The woman told police that during the argument, Adeloye stepped out of his house holding a gun and she ran and hid, police said. She told police she heard a gunshot, but didn’t see what he was aiming for, Lacey police said. Police reported that a spent bullet casing was found at Adeloye’s property. Adeloye is being held without bail. The woman has the dog, police say.

In a separate incident, Jesus Ramirez of Yelm faces charges of second-degree assault while armed and domestic violence harassment, both felonies, and fourth-degree domestic violence assault, a gross misdemeanor, after deputies say he held a knife to a woman’s neck.

The woman, whose relationship with Ramirez could not be described by deputies on Sunday, called law enforcement Friday just before noon. She reported that he assaulted and threatened her at their home in the 17100 block of 153rd Avenue Southeast, outside Yelm, Thurston County deputies reported.

Ramirez, 35, was arrested just before 4 a.m. Saturday, and was held without bail at Thurston County Corrections. The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement also had Ramirez held on an immigration detainer, according to Thurston County Corrections.
