99 arrested by immigration authorities in N. Texas

DALLAS — Teams of federal agents arrested 99 people sought by immigration authorities during a five-day operation this week in North Texas.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Friday announced the arrests of immigration violators.
Those included 58 people targeted because they had orders of deportation. The other 41 were encountered during the course of the operation.
Out of the 99 arrested, 22 had previous criminal convictions.
Fugitive operations teams began the operation on Sunday.
Arrests were made in Dallas, Denton and Lewisville. They included people from Costa Rica, Egypt, El Salvador, Mexico, Nepal and Nicaragua.
