WAUKESHA - A Waukesha police official said Wednesday more illegal residents may have been living in a house where five people were arrested by authorities early Tuesday morning.
Waukesha Police Capt. Mark Stigler said as many as 10 to 12 people may have been living at the house, in the 2200 block of Melody Lane, where three, possibly four, Mexican nationals and a Chinese man were arrested by police and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials Tuesday.
Stigler said there were sheets hung throughout the house to create private living spaces. He added police are working with the city building inspector to investigate the residence as a possible rooming house or for other possible code violations.
