Police Arrest Man Wanted By Federal Immigration Agency

Man was originally apprehended by the Greenfield Police Department for allegedly driving drunk.

A 26-year-old man, who was initially taken into custody for allegedly driving drunk Aug. 1, was later arrested by the Greenfield Police Department for being wanted by the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

Juan Calel-Pastor was apprehended in the 4200 block of South 68th Street at 12:20 a.m. Calel-Pastor was stopped by police after swerving in his lane of traffic, according to the department report.

The man, who allegedly gave police a false name and age, was taken to his residence after being booked and cited, according to the report.

At 3:45 a.m., ICE contacted the department after receiving a match on Calel-Pastor's fingerprint, so Greenfield police went back to his home and arrested the Calel-Pastor.
