ICE announces fugitive arrest operation

A two-week operation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement that resulted in the arrests of 2,400 convicted criminal aliens and immigration fugitives included 27 arrests in Missouri.
The results of “Cross Check” were announced today.
People who were arrested included people with convictions for crimes ranging from armed robbery, drug trafficking, forger and driving while intoxicated, according to a news release from ICE.
Arrests in Missouri were conducted by the ICE Chicago field office.
Previous Cross Check operations resulted in the arrests of 2,064 people.
The latest operation involved more than 500 ICE officers, along with coordination with other law enforcement agencies.
