Assault in Sterling Park

A 27-year-old Sterling man who Loudoun County authorities think might be in the country illegally was charged with malicious wounding after an assault at a home in Sterling Park on May 28.
Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the home in the 600 block of North Fillmore Avenue around 7 p.m.
Upon arrival, deputies said they found a man, Marvin J. Castillo, 26, of Sterling suffering from a cut to his arm outside of the residence. A woman suffering from a cut was found inside the home, according to the sheriff’s office.
Alejandro Tolledo-Gomez, 27, of Sterling was charged with malicious wounding and being drunk in public. He is being detained on an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement detainer, which indicates he either entered the country illegally or violated the terms of his residency, according to Loudoun County Sheriff’s spokesman Craig Troxell, who said the case is under investigation.
Castillo was charged with being drunk in public. He also remains held on an ICE detainer.
“Both subjects were brought in on charges and booked into jail,” Troxell said.
