Woman arrested with illegal child immigrant

LAREDO, Tx.- A woman aboarded a busline accompanied by a 6 year old child that did not have legal documents.

The minor crossed through one of the international bridges with the woman, who was also an undocumented immigrant. The woman was detected at a bus station.

She presented a document that demonstrated legal custody of the child but the document turned out to be false.

The woman was turned over to immigration authorities to be processed in a court of law, the child was turned over to the Mexican Consul General to be transported to Mexican territory.
