ELOY, AZ (KOLD) - Two houses were robbed over the past couple weeks in the Silverbell neighborhood of Eloy, Ariz., according to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office is asking residents in the Silverbell neighborhood to report any suspicious activity to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office. Patrols have increased in the area in an attempt to catch those responsible for the burglaries.

On September 20 at 11 p.m. the Pinal County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding two possible illegal immigrants inside of a home in the 15200 block of West Zodiac Drive, in Eloy, Ariz. The homeowner made the discovery when he entered his residence.

The homeowner confronted the two as they were attempting to steal food and water from his home. The homeowner attempted to tackle one of the individuals, but he and the other suspect were able to run into the desert area. Inside of the home, deputies discovered food and water bottles scattered along with several backpacks. It was also discovered that the individuals had used the homeowners shower, according to the news release.

The suspects had made forced entry into the home through a rear window. Using night vision equipment, deputies followed the tracks of the suspects through the desert for nearly four miles. The tracks then met up with several other tracks southwest of the residence in a wash, stated the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.
