3 men in prison on immigration detainer

McADOO — Three people were committed to Schuylkill County Prison on an immigration detainer after an incident in the southbound lanes of Interstate 81 at the Schuylkill-Luzerne county line in Kline Township at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
State police at Frackville said troopers on patrol encountered Juan Velazquez-Solis, 28, Armando Velazquez-Solis, 30, and Rojo Nava-Efrain with a disabled vehicle, all without valid driver’s licenses.
Troopers said their investigation revealed that all three men were in the United States illegally and Immigration and Customs Enforcement was contacted.
The three men were committed to prison on a detainer to await action by ICE, police said.
