8 illegal immigrants arrested at Bullhead City bar serving minors

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (AP) - Eight illegal immigrants were arrested at a raucous Bullhead City bar found to be serving alcohol to minors.
Bullhead City police received numerous complaints about La Conchita bar and has recently investigated a severe beating there and an incident in which a patron pointed a gun at two employees.
Police began surveillance on the bar two weeks ago after a large group of people in the parking lot threw glass beer bottles at a patrol vehicle.
The department and other Arizona law enforcement agencies conducted a liquor inspection there at about 12 a.m. Sunday.
They found that the owner of the bar was serving liquor to minors as young as 17 and cited him for numerous violations.
Authorities also arrested nine people, 8 of whom were illegal immigrants.
